In India, Teva currently operates three state-of-the-art Teva api manufacturing plants at Gajraula in Uttar Pradesh, Malanpur in Madhya Pradesh, and Ambernath in the state of Maharashtra, producing various active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and final intermediates. All manufacturing plants adhere to applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and are audited by various regulatory agencies and ministries.
While manufacturing is a key focus for Teva in India, it consistently taps India's strong R&D expertise, leveraging the availability of highly skilled technical staff at its research and development. Teva api has its largest synthetic R&D hub in Greater Noida.
